The Orchestra della Toscana (ORT) is delighted to announce the renewal of Daniele Rustioni’s contract as Principal conductor of the renowned Florence-based orchestra until 2020. Maestro Rustioni has been working with the ORT since 2011, first as Principal Guest conductor and from 2014 as Principal Conductor,
with projects ranging from complete Schumann, Beethoven and Mendelssohn cycles to international tours including KKL Luzern and South America. Future highlights include tours to Germany and Japan and the completion of a 3-album series for SONY CLASSICAL with works by Ghedini, Petrassi and Casella.
